Was a decent base for new year. Had really nice stay for the night which it was with exceptionally nice staff and absolutely perfect location in a good area.
Facilities were great, nonetheless Wi-Fi wasn't great.

Budget price.
Tv could have had set top box even if not Digital. Toaster supplied but no plates or utensiles.

This motel should be reclassed as backpacker for the price you pay there is no value. Very poorly done needs to be revamped completely. Toilet dripped continuously even though there was a sign next to it asking us to save water. A lot of water was wasted in the two days we spent there.

Commnication with staff was very pleasant and organising a late arrival was easy. Staff was very helpful.
That when advised that we would not arrive until late, they arranged forroom to br unlocked so we could just go straight to room, and to sort and payment etc in morning, very friendly.

The receptionist was kind and helpful; however, this motel should be downgraded. .
My daughter has travelled a great deal over the past few years and has stayed at many hostels, which she felt were as good as or better than this motel. Having your private bathroom is the only difference between Top Drop and a hostel. There were spiders and webs in the bathroom, light fixtures didn't work, and the feel of the room was old and run down.

Very quiet, very friendly and clean. A very good location for trips to the surrounding countryside. Very pleased.
There was no dry space in the bathroom to put toiletries.

The facilities were adequate, clean but in need of updating. The hollow square and vines made the motel look attractive but once again, the paving etc could do with updating. However, the rate was good.
The staff were friendly but the whole place needs refreshing.

My stay was a "transit" stay, arrived 10.45pm, temperature was 5 degrees c, left at 4.30 am, staff had the electric blanket on, and the heater on, and this made my very short stay most enjoyable, I left a note thanking them for this.
